I received compensation from Bayer Consumer Health, makers of MiraLAX® to write this post. MiraLAX® is a laxative used to treat occasional constipation. All opinions are entirely my own. #ReLAXOnTheGo #CollectiveBias
Occasional Constipation: Lots of people have it. No one wants to talk about it. It’s summer and summer means traveling. So we are going to go there and talk about those digestive issues that come up when you travel.
There are numerous reasons that factor into occasional constipation while traveling, some would be dietary changes, dehydration, stress, or even just not being in your own bathroom. Which is my problem. I don’t know what it is about hearing my kids screaming for me outside of the bathroom door or the dogs barking at the FedEx man but I just want to be in my own bathroom.
I usually, ok, I always go to Target to get my essentials when packing for a trip. Anytime I travel I make sure that MiraLAX® is on my Target shopping list. I have found after many road trips that MiraLAX® provides gentle relief from occasional constipation. I usually mix it in my tea or coffee while traveling. It’s even easier to use with the MiraLAX® Mix-In Pax® single dose package.
What I love most about MiraLAX® is that it is different from stimulant laxatives which make your body go by forcefully stimulating the nerves in your colon. MiraLAX® isn’t like that, it works with the water in your body to hydrate, soften, and ease, unblocking your system naturally.
MiraLAX® doesn’t cause harsh side effects such as that bloated feeling, gas, cramps, or sudden urgency. Those symptoms are not what you want to experience while you are traveling. BELIEVE ME!
MiraLAX® is easy to take, and easy on your body. Always use as directed. Occasional constipation doesn’t have to stop you from traveling!
