One of the best things about living at the beach is the opportunity to enjoy a staycation when the summer season is over but the weather is still warm. Staycations will refresh your mind and give you a chance to enjoy time with your family!
Our little staycation last weekend at Embassy Suites at Kingston Plantation was a great success and even though we are all back to reality I definitely want to share our experience with y’all!
Kingston Plantation offers more than 750 luxurious guest accommodations on 145 lush acres located right in the heart of Myrtle Beach.
Options include the Embassy Suites (where we stayed) as well as oceanfront condominiums, lakeside townhouses and villas.
This massive 255 suite hotel sits right on the beach. Every suite has a balcony and depending on which side of the building you are on offers a breathtaking ocean view or a magnificent view of the Kingston Plantation grounds and lakes.
Every suite has a bedroom and a separate living area with a pull out sofa. You will have plenty of room to spread out with these suites. The rooms also have a mini-fridge and microwave as well!
Pools and Waterpark
The weather was around 90 degrees so we definitely spent most of our time by the pool. There were two large pools, kiddie pools, and SPLASH! waterpark, which was named one of the ten best water parks in the United States by Waterpark Resorts Today magazine! The waterpark is basically a children’s paradise- mine didn’t want to leave!
The Landing At Kingston Plantation with Spa33 and 78 Fitness
I had the opportunity to experience Spa33 first hand and it did not disappoint. I had an amazing massage during our stay and it was just what I needed. Spa33 also offers hair and nail treatments and a special lounge for bridal parties and girlfriend groups.
There are a variety of massage treatment options available to heal the mind and body with specially designed couples massage rooms with private showers. The entire atmosphere was amazing, it was incredibly relaxing and tranquil.
Kingston Plantation also offers 103,000 square feet of meeting space, making the complex one of the largest and most comprehensive oceanfront conference facilities between Atlantic City and West Palm Beach.
The lobby coffee bar, Intermission, offers Starbucks™ and a menu with grab-and-go sandwiches, milkshakes and pre-made salads. Coastal Bar offers a delicious array of tropical drinks and premium liquors daily beginning at 5 p.m. Of course like all other Embassy Suites, complimentary cooked to order breakfast and evening reception are included as well.
The hotel is so family-oriented with so many things for the kids to do that they would never get bored. I think that one of the best things is that you have all the comforts of high-end hotel and you also have the calm and serenity of being on quiet little secluded hideaway.
If you are in the area or are willing to travel, I can pretty much guarantee a wonderful stay at this resort.
