Tween girls. Oh, the struggle, craziness, and fun all at the same time. I am trying to raise two very independent, loving, friendly, kind, stubborn and very emotional tween girls.
Yes, there are so many things I want to teach them that I haven’t yet, and so much advice they need to hear as they go into the crazy teenage years.
Raising Strong Daughters
I want to share some more of my favorite quotes about raising strong daughters, specifically tweens that are heading into the teen years.
“Remind yourself of what you’ve been able to overcome. All the times you felt like you weren’t going to make it through, you’ve proved yourself wrong. You’re more powerful than you think.”
“In a world where you can be anything….be kind.”
“As for my girls, I’ll raise them to think they breathe fire.”
“Be the woman you want your daughter to be.”
“Don’t stop until you’re proud.”
“Little girls with dreams become women with vision.”
“Courage is being yourself every day in a world that tells you to be someone else.”
“Teach your daughters to worry less about fitting into glass slippers and more about shattering glass ceilings!”
“Blowing out another woman’s candle doesn’t make you shine.”
And last but not least. Mama’s you are doing an amazing job. This thing called motherhood isn’t easy. But we are all in it together!
Remember: “Strong women raise strong girls!”
