Kids in the Kitchen: Dole Banana Tot Pops

Parents around the world, myself included are doing their best to provide some kind of a school routine at home. I feel it’s important to not only allow them to of course do their school work but to teach them life skills as well!

Just in time for summer, these Banana Tot Pops are an irresistible treat! The whole crew can get involved in decorating their own banana and this is a super easy recipe for everyone!

Ingredients:

  1. Firm DOLE Bananas, Peeled
  2. 6 Large wooden pop sticks
  3. 3/4 cup raspberry or another flavored yogurt
  4. 1 jar of chocolate or rainbow sprinkles

Directions:

  1. Cut each banana crosswise in half. Insert a wooden stick into each half.

  2. Pour yogurt on lunch size plate. Roll banana in yogurt. Allow excess yogurt to drop onto the plate. Sprinkle candies over yogurt.

  3. Place pops on a wax paper-lined tray. Freeze 2 hours.

These pops are naturally sweet from the bananas, and the raspberry yogurt makes them a satisfying treat. After a little time in the freezer, the bananas get cold, creamy, and delicious
