I don’t think anyone wakes up and says to themselves “When I grow up I want to be a bus driver” I know I sure didn’t. But here I am nonetheless on my eighth year of driving the big yellow limo. School bus drivers are a special breed of a person, to say the least. One needs patience, understanding, and a little bit of insanity. We get yelled at, honked at, and our STOP sign gets passed more times than we can count. I believe people often forget that we carry THEIR children.
